AIDAN SECK

Founder

Aidan is the Founder of STATS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and Principal Engineer /Manager and co-owner of Specialist Testing And Technical Services, STATS Australia. As well as being a certified Chartered Engineer, Aidan has more than 20 years of international project experience in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India and China. Aidan has a long track record in undertaking Geotechnical, Structural and Materials Investigation, Pavement, Asset Management and Laboratory Testing work for clients.

Aidan established and managed an engineering company for several years which was part of a Public Listed Company in Asia. He was responsible for the financial and technical outcomes of the business. It was subsequently sold to an Australian Company. Aidan then migrated to Australia and was later appointed as the Chief Engineer of an international engineering company which provided both management and technical services to clients from State and Local Government, Civil and Mining Contractors as well as Consultants.

TONY TEO

Technical Director
BEng (Civil), MIES, Certified Facade Inspector (BCA, CSC)

Tony has more than 30 years of domestic and international management and operations experience. He has vast knowledge and experience in Building/Structural Inspection, Assessment & Testing & Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Site Assessment. He has been involved in many engineering and environmental monitoring projects that involves testing of the structural integrity of buildings, soil investigations, supervision of geotechnical drilling and many other investigations and sample collections.

He has managed several notable projects, including:

• Inspection and sampling of aggregates at Karimun Island, Indonesia for Singapore’s MRT project
• Independent Third Party Inspection of timber sleepers for Singapore’s MRT Project
• QA/QC of Keppel-Sentosa bridge link, Singapore
• Testing of HDB’s facade tiles installation, Singapore
• Laboratory testing on Fire-proofing material and application methods and On-site Third Party QC on Fire-proofing application.
• Port Klang Power Station, Malaysia
• Changi East & East Coast Reclamation Project, Singapore
• Jurong Islands & Northeastern Coast Reclamation Project, Singapore

LEI ZHI PEI

Lei Zhi Pei graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Chemistry from Nan Kai University of China in 1987. He obtained a postgraduate Master of Science Degree in Chemistry from Nan Kai University of China in 1990.

Currently, he is the operation and business development director at Stats Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. During his 28 years working experiences in commercial laboratories, he has been leading microcontamination, food chemistry and food microbiological departments. He was involved in many different areas of projects such as cleanliness tests for hard disk drive components and cleanroom consumables, ultra-pure water and ultra-pure chemical analysis, electronic component failure analysis, RoHS and green label tests for products and materials. Further more; he was also involved in synthesis and analysis of organic compounds, environmental analysis of soil, water and air.

He was certified by DNV-GL as Approved HazMat Expert for preparation of an “Inventory of Hazardous Materials” (IHM) as per Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Sound Recycling of Ships 2009 and EU Ship Recycling Regulation (EC 1257/2013). In 2002, he was confirmed as a Certified ESD Engineer by The National Association of Ratio and Telecommunications Engineers, Inc. USA (NARTE) (certificate number ESD-00390-NE). He is also SAC-Singlas technical assessor for environmental, chemical & Biological fields since 2004.
